Kamibashi’s business materials were all designed by Lara Mondae, a graphic designer working independently in Chicago.
We told Lara that we wanted the Kamibashi ("paper bridge") logo to reflect the idea that our products connect people, cultures, and timeless art traditions, and then she worked together with an illustrator until they reached an icon that we felt portrayed Kamibashi perfectly. She then used it to design our business cards, letterhead, stickers, textile tags, and a banner to use at trade shows and art fairs.
