Order early to make sure your gifts arrive on time, or use expedited shipping if time is running out – we are here to help!

Thanks so much for giving the gift of Kamibashi this holiday season!

As always, we are shipping orders out by Priority Mail within 24 hours of receipt, but once it's out the door it is out of our hands. In order to insure that your gifts arrive on time, please order EARLY, like now ;-). Below is some information and dates to keep in mind, and if you need us to expedite your order we can do that no problem — just call our office right after you place your order to let us know when you need it to arrive: 828-683-7994. You can also e-mail Kristen at kristen@kamibashi.com and she promises you'll get a quick response. Once we hear from you we'll figure out how much extra it will cost and send you a PayPal link, or take your credit card info over the phone, to cover the additional shipping cost.

Cost: $5.95 flat rate for your entire order.

We ship all internet orders all year round by Priority Mail for the flat rate of $5.95 (orders over $100 are shipped by UPS ground, unless it is too close to the 25th to arrive on time, in which case we’ll send your $100+ order by Priority Mail).

Priority Mail generally takes 2 - 3 days but it is not guaranteed, and even though they say it will make it there by Christmas if shipped on Friday, December 21 it may not. Try your luck (in general the post office is pretty good and does its job well — last year everything arrived on time!) but if possible, please order before the 21st so that you have some breathing room.

DATES TO REMEMBER:

Friday, December 21: This is the last day to place your order so that arrives to you on Dec. 24 by ANY SHIPPING METHOD, and according to the post office it will arrive before Christmas if shipped today by regular priority mail. Please make sure your order arrives to us no later than 10 AM EST on Friday, December 21 — any orders that arrive after 2 PM may not get out the door that day and therefore may not make it there on time (we will do our best to get ALL orders out, but the post office closes at 5pm).

Please see below for expedited shipping by UPS for orders you'd like to expedite no matter what the date. This is the rare year when Priority Mail shipped on Friday, Dec. 21 will make it there as fast as an overnight packaged shipped by UPS on Friday, Dec, 21 which means that Dec. 21 is the very last day we can ship anything to arrive by X-mas. Please note that we are not responsible for any order that does not make it to you by the holidays, even if ordered on or before December 21. We promise to ship your order right away (often on the same day we receive it), but once we send it into the world it’s out of our hands. Thanks so much for your understanding, we really appreciate it!

Monday, December 24: We will be shipping out orders today but your package won't make it there by the 25th no matter what we do. It's cheapest for us to ship to you by Priority Mail to arrive by Thursday or Friday of this week, but if you need it there faster please give us a call at 828-683-7994 and we'll let you know what UPS will cost to get it there on Wednesday or Thursday.

Cost: This will depend on how fast you need it and where you live.

Shipping by UPS is the best way for us to ship your order when you need it by a certain date and don't want to take a chance with Priority Mail. UPS Ground is of course the cheapest way and it takes only 2 business days to get to you from our office in North Carolina if you live in the South, most of the Midwest, or on the East Coast. Shipments to the West Coast take a full week by UPS ground to arrive and other regions take 3 or 4 days. This year, the last day to ship by both UPS and Priority Mail to arrive before Dec. 25 is Friday, Dec. 21. Priority Mail will be much cheaper than UPS at this stage, but if you MUST have it on Monday, Dec. 24 and don't want to take any chances then call us and we'll give you a quote.
