The number of stores carrying Kamibashi items is growing by the
day – please see our list of “paper
lovin’ stores” to find if there is one
located near you.
If you do not live near a shop selling our products, we will be
more than happy to send you our retail-priced items directly from
Kamibashi in Japan. The minimum order is $25, not including
shipping, which is a flat 20% of your total order.
To receive the Kamibashi retail price list, please write to kristen@kamibashi.com
and it will be sent to you as a Microsoft Word document. You can
then place your order by writing the product numbers of what you'd
like in the body of an e-mail. The total price, including shipping
charges, will be e-mailed back to you, and products will be shipped
after your payment is received.
The minimum when ordering
only Minoji products is $15 plus shipping.
If you are ordering other paper items in addition to
Minoji, Minoji products will apply to the$25 minimum.
1. Personal Check from a U.S. bank
Customers who choose to pay by check will be e-mailed the Kamibashi
mailing address in Chicago. For all orders and reorders from individuals,
checks must be received and cashed prior to shipping; therefore,
arrival time for items paid by check will be between 2 and 3 weeks
of Kamibashi’s initial reply. Please make your check
payable to: Kristen Doherty and send to the Chicago address on
your invoice.
2. Credit Card (PayPal - you no
longer need to be a member!)
Kamibashi accepts credit card payments through the secure online
payment company PayPal.
After you submit your order to Kamibashi, we will send you the
grand total (including shipping) and a link to the PayPal Kamibashi
site where you can input your credit card information. It is an
easy, straightforward, and secure system. If you encounter any
problems, however, we will be happy to give you assistance.
For all orders and reorders from individuals, credit card information
must be received prior to the order’s shipping. Arrival
time for orders paid by credit card will be 10-12 days from the
receipt of your credit card information.
Shipping will be a flat 20% of your total. Kamibashi will send
your order through the postal service by “small packet”
airmail, a cheap but uninsured method of shipment. For an additional
fee which will depend on the size of your order, you can request
to have your paper shipped from Japan using EMS, a reliable express
mail service offered by the post office. EMS is insured, trackable,
and the recipient must sign for the package before it is delivered.
Shipping time is generally 3-5 days from Japan to most parts of
the U.S.
There is no U.S. customs fee for paper items made in Japan.
There will be no sales tax on your order.
Any paper product that arrives in less than perfect condition
may be returned for a full refund. Returns will not be accepted
for any other reason. To make a return, please send an e-mail
with your name, order number, and a brief description of the nature
of the problem to kristen@kamibashi.com
within 3 days of receipt. Kamibashi will apologize profusely as
well as refund the item and pay for the return shipping of any
product that is deemed imperfect. Shipping expenses for shipping
from Japan to the customer will only be refunded if the entire
order is found to be damaged.
